AEI Security's range of 'Remote Automation' products have been designed for the D.I.Y. and professional user with a strong emphasis on ease of installation and operation. The products can be fitted without any need for disturbance to existing wiring circuits.

Electrical products around the home can be operated from a central location or by remote control from any area of the house at distances up to 25 metres. Additional wall switches can be added around the home eliminating expensive wiring.

Our OEM range of products provide the designer with an easy means of incorporating remote control operation to just about any application.

All products operate using radio frequency (R.F.) technology which allows the remote controls and wall plates to operate through walls and ceilings. A custom manufactured integrated circuit is at the heart of each transmitter and receiver, factory pre-set to one of 256 combinations. The operating frequency is governed in the U.K. by the Radio Communications Agency and use of the products is permitted through AEI's extensive hold of License Exemption certificates. All products comply with relevant British Safety Standards.

	Plug in adaptor units The RA and RD series provides an easy means of upgrading any mains operated appliance to remote control.
	Bulb fitting adaptor units The BF Series provides you with a simple means of converting a bulb holder to remote control on/off, or to a dimmer function. It is supplied complete with a handy remote control.
	OEM Wire-in remote modules The RM,RMD and FL series are a range of small modules designed to work at mains voltage levels switching up to 3 mains powered appliances on and off and providing dimmer function on some models.
	This is a revolutionary new design in P.I.R. lighting control, which enables a conventional single pole wall switch to be replaced with a movement activated detector.
	Remote controlled wall plates A range of totally wire-free wall plates incorporating the same transmission electronics as the remote controllers. It not only converts lighting to remote control but also adds additional self contained light switches.
